We build tools for people who work on society.
Society Intelligence is a brand of Socintel FlexKapG, based in Vienna.
It started with an observation: people working to improve society – in foundations, impact funds, public administration and social enterprises – were running some of their most important data through spreadsheets. We set out to give them better tools.
Those tools have grown into a set of products that follow the path from signal to decision: monitoring news and narratives, forecasting regional change across Europe, reporting on impact, and building the data infrastructure underneath.
Our long-term aim has stayed the same: more trust, transparency and accountability in the impact sector, and better access to funding for people who build data-driven ventures.

We work with documented sources such as GDELT and European regional statistics, and we show where a number comes from.

Our platforms run on European infrastructure. EU Optikos and MindWeaveBoard keep your data in the EU.

Society Intelligence grew out of academic work on data and social impact. Our publications are listed on Google Scholar.
